I just lately changed job & need to commute further and
park at a train station.
Concerned about if the STI would get tampered with at the
train stop, I make a decision to downgrade & get a cheap car with excellent
gas mileage, great cargo space & good stability.
After reading through a lot of on-line reviews (such as
other subcompacts) and looking at some photos of the Honda Fit EV, I made the
decision to purchase it without having test driving.
With the expectations of the car taking me from A to B with
no fanfare, I am completely surprised by how excellent the car is. By the way,
I just purchased the car for only 3 days.

Cargo space is amazing for a car this size. The magic seats
is purely "magic". Gas usage (approx. 38 mpg city/highway mixed) is
amazing compared to 21 mpg I acquired from the Subaru WRX STI. Efficiency wise,
I am not comparing it to the STI.
Executing so would be unfair. Totally two diverse cars for
different purposes. On its way from the STI though, the Fit was fairly good in
the handling division. It is nimble & easy to control. Steering wheel is
light for simple maneuver.
Parking is effortless as it is little and it has a backup
camera to assist. I am not heading to cry about the loud engine noise
throughout acceleration that a lot of people complained. For more information

Keep in mind it is a 1.5 liter small engine. No comparing to
the STI's 2.5L turbo charged engine generating 305 horse power. Even with its
small & modest engine, it was amazingly quite quick starting from a stop
light & merging into highway traffic.
